Funky Jazz Soul
Samuele Pagliarini is composer, lyricist, Hammond organist, singer, pianist, keyboardist, illustrator and writer. Founded in 1996 the Sam Paglia Trio with whom in 1998 he recorded B – movie heroes his first record of original songs made as a fictional film soundtrack. It is the first case of an Italian concept disc dedicated to the crime genre cinema in which the influences of Italian masters of film composition such as Umiliani, Piccioni, Trovajoli and African-American jazz coexist. In 2000 he recorded Nightclubtropez that will make him known to international audiences…the rest is already in music history. Merit of the Sam Paglia trio is to look beyond history, genres, and styles through deep, meticulous and conscious research of “making” music.
