Ferdinando Guicciardini played a role of great importance for the entire community of Montespertoli, covering the role of Councilor and Assessor for many years (1873-1906). Together with Sidney Sonnino he made possible the construction of the Montespertoli aqueduct, demonstrating several times a foresight and a generosity that did not find an adequate response from the then municipal administration.
