First mentions of a village: Montespertoli

Located on a hill, among vineyards, olive groves and fields, divided into small villages, scattered throughout its territory, is Montespertoli, in the province of Florence, which is about 25 km away. A territory that reaches out to the city, keeping its farming roots strong. Renowned for the production of Chianti DOCG wine , it boasts countless wineries and farms where it is possible to buy directly the food and wine you just tasted.

Over the years many Florentines have chosen to move to Montespertoli, either because of the proximity to the city, or for the desire to rediscover and enjoy the contact with nature and the surrounding landscape, or for that feeling of intimacy and community that only a village can offer.

There are two valleys between which it extends: Val di Pesa and Val d’Elsa, and three castles, one of which is in the center of the town:Sonnino , Poppiano , Montegufoni . Three museums:Sacred Art Museum , Amedeo Bassi Museum ,Wine Museum . There are two churches: San Piero in Mercato and Santa Maria a Coeli Aula. An infinity of paths, of dirt tracks to be covered on foot or by bicycle, rediscovering the pleasure of laying eyes on a countryside that is always in motion, of feeling in the nostrils smells and perfumes long forgotten.

There will be opportunities to delve into all this beauty and privileges.
